About The Band
The Ringwood Pipe Band was founded in 1972 from the chance meeting of two pipers double booked for the same engagement in Bournemouth. Since then, we’ve grown into one of the premier pipe bands on the south coast of England, boasting an average membership of twenty-four dedicated musicians. Our strong connections with other pipe bands in the region facilitate seamless transitions for players moving between areas or assisting each other at events.
As a self-funded organisation, we operate as a registered charity raising funds through local participation and special occasions. The band has played internationally, including trips to Germany, Spain, France and Italy.
Our 2026 repertoire is set out below.
